Our professionals know that dental health is not just about white smiles; it’s about having strong teeth and healthy gums that are part of you as an individual with your own unique goals and desires. Our mission is to help our patients accomplish these goals in a compassionate, and efficient way.

We aim to educate our patients in a safe environment while offering them necessary comprehensive care. We strive to maintain a comfortable environment where our patients always feel welcome and cared for. Many of our team members have deep ties to the community – and this is very important to us. Our goal is to give our patients the best care possible.

Meet the Dentists

Dr. Ousama Kabalan

Dr. Kabalan was born and raised in Calgary and moved to Edmonton in 2010 when he started his dental education at the University of Alberta. Since then, he has been active in pursuing continuing education with a focus on restorative and surgical techniques to help give his patients the best service he possibly can. He has also made it a priority to introduce more and more modern technology to the clinic, ensuring that the patients of Westlock Dental Centre have access to the level of care they deserve. Dr. Kabalan (known more simply as "Dr. K" to most of his patients) is committed to making sure he is available for his patients when they need him, and believes that communication and compassion are critical to a good relationship.
Dr. K started with Westlock Dental Centre in 2016, and immediately fell in love with the community and its people – especially the amazing group he gets to work with every day! Outside of work, his hobbies include golf, fitness, golf, travel, baking, golf, and spending time with his friends & family. Oh, and golf.
Dr. Matt Roshko

Dr. Roshko grew up on a farm northwest of Redwater, Alberta, attending the University of Alberta where he studied Kinesiology before entering and completing the Doctor of Dental Surgery program.
Matt is excited to be back in the area and working in our close-knit community. He looks forward to meeting and helping the hard-working people of Westlock and surrounding area.
Dr. Roshko values honesty and empathy, believing that patient comfort and care are the highest priorities.
Giving back to the community is something he enjoys which is why he has volunteered locally at the SHINE Dental Clinic on Boyle Street in Edmonton and traveled to Guatemala to provide dental care in poverty stricken areas with Kindness in Action. He hopes to continue volunteering his skills in the future.
